If your still bummed about summer ending, I just have three words for you, GET OVER IT! Your going to miss out on the amazing things fall has to offer, like new lipstick colors. Ultimately, for me, this means more darker and deeper hues of lipstick for A/W. Scroll below to see what I mean.
I'm not one to shy away from a strong lip color; shades like blackberry, raspberry or boysenberry intrigue me.
Till next time.
One of my favourite things about fall, are the warm calming colors the season brings. No season is like the other, and for me, fall stands out the most. I don't know why but, the smell of pumpkin spice in the air and all of the colorful leaves on the ground put me in a calm and mellow mood. When I get into that state I do my best to compliment the season by using its colors to flatter my outfit. However, I don't pay enough attention as I should to my lip color, buuuut it’s a new school year, so I'm turning over a new leaf. Say it with me guys, "Lipstick is the new accessory!!!" With that said, I introduce you to my second go to fall lipstick color for this A/W.
I’ve read somewhere that a chocolate brown lip color is like a more intense version of nude. What do you guys think?
For me this is the perfect color for when I’m trying to go for a natural look but still want a lip color that will be noticed in a subtle way.
Give it a try, if you haven't already. The only thing I would recommend is to use a little bit of concealer on your lips before applying your lipstick. It will make your brown lipstick last longer; you'll thank me later.
Till next time. Alicia
As the seasons change, it is important to be up to date with the appropriate and flattering hues of lipstick, because let's be honest ladies, lipstick is the new best accessory! However, you need the perfect shade of lipstick to perfect your outfit. So here is a series of my go to fall lipstick shades for this years A/W.
wine stain lipstick
Wine stained lipstick looks good on every skin tone. It is one of the easiest colors to pull off. Just be cautious of the shade of wine you choose because you don't want to over intensify your lips.
What I would suggest is try experimenting with the different shades of wine and intensify your lips by applying it with a nice lip linear.
Give it a try, the next time your going out on the town.
Till next time. Alicia
